HARD ROCK ilov 305

Revitalization of the Center Bar at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS, focused on creating an immersive experience for the Pitbull ilov 305 themed venue. This dynamic project involved a refreshing upgrade, enhancing the energy and vibrancy of the space. Despite its size, the Center Bar became a focal point with a new Live Stage and Back Bar Upper Stage/DJ Booth. The transformation included a state-of-the-art video display setup, a high-energy sound system, and captivating lighting, resulting in an engaging and lively entertainment hub within the casino.

Notably, the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony saw the presence of Pitbull himself, adding a touch of celebrity glamour to the unveiling of this exciting and innovative venue.

PRIVATE HOME STUDIO

Transforming concept into reality, this private home studio stands as a testament to meticulous acoustical design, ensuring impeccable recording of performances in a completely sound-isolated environment. The cutting-edge system boasts top-tier components, including Meyer Sound for audio, DLive Mixing for precise sound management, Elation Lighting for a captivating visual experience, and seamless control through Crestron technology. The harmonious integration of these elements creates an unparalleled recording and production space, marrying aesthetic sophistication with state-of-the-art functionality.

WESTMORE CHURCH OF GOD

For Scott Vegte, a veteran Director of Sales Operations at All Pro Integrated Systems, one project stands out from his decades of experience at Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, not for its success but for its challenges. As Scott notes, everyone can brag about jobs that go flawlessly, but who can brag about jobs that don't! In a COVID-19 environment raft with travel restrictions, pandemic fears, and supplier limitations, completing a comprehensive AVL integration against such serious headwinds is an accomplishment of note and worthy of an investigation.

Westmoor Church of God is strategically located in the hometown of their denomination, and as a result, there is an expectation to the quality of services will be at a high level, both musically and technically. For head pastor Calvin Page, part of the reality of this expectation is to offer an opportunity for the students at nearby Lee University to participate in the services and derive and understanding of how things should be done. To that end, westmoor's new ministry resource center, a $56,000 ft² facility housing, their new 1400 seat family room plus children's ministry area and fellowship gathering space, was designed to be state of the art with an eye toward modeling the function of ministry production across all age groups. Minister of music and media, Steve Allen, incorporates a diverse group of vocalists, instrumentalist, and techs in a broad pallet of musical styles and genres focused on conveying the message in an exclusive manner rooted an eternal truth.

PEACE HARBOR - Mega Intelligent Home

As the owner and founder of Amani Inc., I had the distinct honor of spearheading an extraordinary project that beautifully merges technology and the arts. One of the standout accomplishments during my tenure at Amani was the creation of a groundbreaking $3 million AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) system installed in the stunning $20+ million residence known as Peace Harbor on Lake Okoboji in Iowa.

This state-of-the-art system not only facilitated unforgettable performances by renowned artists Vince Gill and Kenny Loggins using the house systems but also set a new standard for excellence in residential audio-visual systems.

Innovative Features of Peace Harbor:

Embarking on the futuristic vision reminiscent of the Jetsons or the automated charm of Rollie Pollie Olie, Peace Harbor was more than just a residence—it was a marvel of unparalleled automation. Every aspect of the home, akin to a living, breathing entity, was intelligently orchestrated to deliver an unparalleled living experience.

Total Home Automation: Picture a residence where every function, from the subtle nuances of lighting to the ambient temperature, mirrors the inhabitants' preferences seamlessly. Peace Harbor achieved the culmination of automation, reminiscent of science fiction tales, ensuring that daily life felt effortless.
Complex Automation, Effortless User Experience: Amidst the futuristic façade, a profound effort was made to ensure that the complexity of automation never intruded upon the user experience. Manual controls for lighting, temperature, and more were strategically placed, ensuring guests could navigate the home comfortably without feeling overwhelmed.
Security and Transparency: In an era before smart homes became ubiquitous, Peace Harbor pioneered advanced security features. From remotely monitoring the status of doors and windows to checking the temperature or entertainment system's status, transparency was key. It wasn't just automation; it was control from anywhere in the world, securely.
A Vision Ahead of Its Time: Peace Harbor wasn't just a home; it was a visionary concept that defied its time. Door locks that seamlessly merged standard functionality with complete automation were groundbreaking. The guiding principle was clear—would Grandma feel at ease, and would Bill Gates be impressed?

Notable Features of Peace Harbor:

Seamless Entry: A fully automated home featuring personalized automobile profiles for effortless, tailored arrival experiences.
Hidden Marvels: Behind the scenes, high-performance audio-visual systems capable of A-list performances were discreetly tucked away. The result? An unassuming residence that effortlessly transformed into a concert hall without losing its sophisticated charm.
Nightly Symphony: The intuitive "Goodnight" command orchestrated a nightly ritual of security and comfort—doors locking, shades closing, temperatures adjusting, creating a tranquil ambiance.
Curved Elegance: In collaboration with Lutron, we introduced curved roller shades, a groundbreaking solution that preserved stunning views without compromising on privacy—an innovation seamlessly blending form and function.
Cutting-Edge Theater: The home theater at Peace Harbor surpassed commercial standards, delivering an immersive audiovisual feast that elevated entertainment to new heights. State-of-the-art technology ensured every film, concert, or performance was an unforgettable experience.
Karaoke Marvel: A touch-of-a-button custom streaming karaoke system transformed any TV into a personal stage. Beyond conventional setups, it offered a comprehensive experience with high-quality microphones, an extensive song library, and the feel of having a dedicated karaoke master at your disposal. This seamlessly integrated innovation and entertainment, making every day a celebration of music and performance at Peace Harbor.

Personal Accomplishment: My greatest achievement of this project was assembling and leading a team of individuals who had never undertaken a project of this magnitude. Guiding them through the unimaginable, I broke down challenges into manageable elements, preventing them from feeling overwhelmed. I fostered an environment where they focused on immediate goals without worrying about the big picture, all while casting a vision on the remarkable project we were building together. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity brought us together as a team, and we collectively achieved something truly extraordinary!

JEPSON CENTER & TELFAIR CHILDREN'S ART MUSEUM – CAM

Telfair Children's Art Museum Project

In July 2023, I played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the Telfair Children's Art Museum project CAM at the Jepson Center. I collaborated closely with renowned design firm FREN Inc. to transform creative vision into reality, contributing to the establishment of a captivating and inspiring space for children of all ages.

Key Contributions:

Orchestrated the integration of cutting-edge technology to bring FREN's creative design to life, overcoming challenges such as hanging projectors from a glass ceiling, implementing curved LED video walls, ensuring 4k resolution throughout, and incorporating interactive displays.
Demonstrated adept project management skills in navigating complexities related to technology integration, meeting the project's budgetary requirements, and exceeding quality standards.
Collaborated seamlessly with FREN Inc., serving as the bridge between creative vision and technological implementation, ensuring a harmonious blend of artistic expression and technical innovation.
Successfully delivered a transformative environment on the museum's third floor, featuring an engaging Tunnel Gallery, an interactive Portrait Gallery, and state-of-the-art Landscape Gallery, aligning with the project's objectives of igniting creativity and promoting educational exploration.
